Why we built Momentum.
At CloudByte we build software with teams who ship for a living. Across every project we saw the same pattern: the work itself was rarely the bottleneck. Coordination was. Plans lived in one tool, specs in another, decisions in chat, and someone always lost an afternoon copying status between them.
Then AI arrived, mostly as chatbots bolted onto the side of old tools. They could summarize a ticket, but they could not see the workflow, act on it, or be held to account for what they did. We wanted a workspace that agents can genuinely work in, under the same rules as the people around them.
So we built Momentum: Jira-class planning with an open agent layer. One workspace, open to any AI through the Model Context Protocol, with a marketplace of agents that take on the busywork.
Humans decide. Agents do the busywork. Momentum stays the single source of truth.
